Ed Baroncini
Chief Investment Officer, LPL Registered Principal, LPL Branch Office Manager
Edward Baroncini is President and Owner of Excel Wealth Management, LLC and an Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial. Within LPL Financial, Ed was honored to be part of their Retirement Plan Program through which the advisor may act as a 3(21) and/or 3(38) fiduciary on corporate retirement plans. The program enabled Ed to assist the owners/board members of the retirement plan by analyzing investment holdings and plan costs, educating employees, and making recommendations on the investment management of the plan. In addition to working with small businesses and corporations, Edward also works with individuals and their families to structure their personal finances in order to formulate a roadmap to retirement, and help them work towards their financial goals.
As a small business owner for over 20 years, Edward has the rare ability to understand a company’s need for tax deferrals while offering a benefit to the employees. As a father of three children, Edward understands the balancing act of saving for college tuition and retirement while meeting current expenses. By using real world experiences, Edward helps companies and families do their best to manage their retirement goals, while navigating the everyday bumps that come up along the way.
Edward is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. While at UConn, he enjoyed four successful seasons with the Lacrosse team, and was a founding father of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. As an active member in his community, Edward has coached several youth athletic teams, and is a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Edward holds his series 7 and 24 with LPL Financial and the series 66 with LPL Financial and Excel Wealth Management, LLC, as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation through Fi360.
