Mike has over 25 years of experience in the qualified and non-qualified retirement plan industry as a registered investment advisor representative and relationship manager. His expertise covers all aspects of qualified and non-qualified plan design, administration, compliance, funding and financial reporting for defined contribution (DC), defined benefit (DB) and ESOP plans. He has extensive experience with investment fund selection and monitoring for defined contribution plans as well as investment portfolio management and de-risking strategies for defined benefit plans. With his DB plan expertise, Mike also provides guidance for pension risk transfer annuity transactions as part of an ongoing pension DB plan de-risking strategy or preparation for a full DB plan termination.
Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Applied Mathematics & Statistics with a minor in Business Administration. Mike resides in Madison, CT with his wife and two dogs. He is an active member in his community and serves on the Board of the Madison Jaycees where he is the coordinator of the organization’s annual Turkey Trot. Away from work Mike enjoys golfing, running, hiking, biking and watersports.
